This is a question Will you go out with me?

"Bloody Kraut, a" asks, "How did you get your current flame to go out with you? If they turned you down, how bad was it?"

Was it all romantic? Or were the beer goggles particularly strong that night?

I was an alcoholic anorexic
and he was a manic depressive. We'd met at the unit he was sectioned at when I went to visit my best mate. They were on day release, and we all walked to the nearest Starbucks to drink tesco value vodka and cappuccinos.

He had a psychotic moment. The tequila came out. We walked back to the tube station together.

"I've got a condom" says I "fancy a fuck?"

"Alright then" quoth he

With the moon setting in a starry sky, we drunkenly pulled our trousers down and fucked on the bonnet of a nearby car.

I thought the evening could not get more magical- I was wrong.

I boarded the train with my inebriated mate.

"Did you use a condom" she purred "it's just he's well skanky and he's probably got everything there is going"

But we had, as he had cared for me. I just knew by the way that he'd drunkenly slipped out then apologised, and asked me to sort it out for him. He was special.

We left the train at Camden station. I fell down the stairs. My mate fell too, then threw up over herself. I wiped her as best I could with her scarf, and were then escorted from the premises.

We left the kindly staff the most fitting present we could think of.

A half empty 2 litre bottle of White Lightening.

Magical.

Magical is maybe not the word I would have used.
But I'll take your word for it : )

Did this actually happen?

@piston
Yes. Yes it did. Although I may have romanticised it somewhat.

*realises has never lied in a QOTW answer*

Oddly enough neither have I
Considering /talk's insistence that I have.

/talk seem to have some slight issues
with the whole of QOTW though.
(, Tue 2 Sep 2008, 21:38, closed)
And I've never understood that.
Why would /talk have been so hostile toward QOTW to begin with? Because it's a fact that many of us encountered hostility over there when we've posted...

Any /talk people want to explain this?

*Waves hand as a /talker*
Because they think it's funny, basically. It's like male banter, but several orders of magnitude beyond my ken. A bit weird, but there we go. At the end of the day though, my attitude is it's only pixels on a screen, and there's always the ignore button.

Some of them are quite funny
Gilgamesh is always entertaining to me. But then there are always going to be cunts anywhere.

*shrug*
I guess I just don't see the humor in being rude to someone who's not been rude first, especially if you don't know them.

Then again, in person my usual habit is to be polite and pleasant to strangers until they give me reason to be otherwise. I know others who fell it's acceptable to be unpleasant to strangers as they're likely to never encounter them again, but I don't agree with that mentality.

'course, I'm a fair bit older than most around here...

*hugs marley* and i mean BIG proper man hugs
and thanks to the loon, well just for being the loon.

...and hugs to all that have the where with all to be here. clearly you have the means to have access to a computer (albeit a shitty PC and not a beautiful Mac like mine) and pay bills and not be some poor cunt on the street

we are all very fortunate on here

no seriously, we are

I'm a little speechless after that
Are you serious? I mean for real serious! You actually left half a bottle of white lightning behind? Questions need to be asked...I mean think of all the poor alcoholics in Africa drinking meths and you do that....tsk. The shame.

@ blousey
nope i stopped smoking grass 5 years ago - just made my depression worse. my best mate i grew up with was also a very heavy cannabis user. he grew more and more mentally unstable was sectioned a number of times and then threw himself out a 24th story window a few years back. cannabis is far from being a safe drug.

i've lost numerous friends and family to drink and drugs. neither is a nice way to go

now if i could only stop drinking at a competitive level i would be a happy man
