My missus bought me some shelled
pistachios yesterday for our holiday car journey next week - they just don't taste the same.
I think the effort of having to pull open the shell to get to the greenish goodness inside makes the salty kernel taste that much sweeter. That & I'm a tight bastard - shelled pistas cost a shitload more!
