you are now locked into that life, so you need to be pretty sure it's sustainable.
I did a stint overseas for a few years, was exceptionally well paid by local standards - I reckoned it was probably equivalent to 250k/year, big house, boat, pool, all that shit.
When it ended, I (we - wife + 2 kids) moved back to UK, smaller house, rain, less money. Took a while to adjust, and still miss that lifestyle.
I'm not sure whether it wouldn't have been better not to do it.
(edit) I just realised how fucking miserable that looked :D
Of course you should do it, regardless. It was great fun at the time, and I'm sure you're enjoying it. Good luck . . .!
