bring on the summeron dead hot days, I like to leave a pair of socks in the fridge so that when I get home after a hard days drinking I can slip into some nice, ice cold socks.....

..i have to try that.
Once when i was on holiday i would put the damp beach towel in the fridge. As it was +30*C of a nightime, i would wait until about 3am, and grab it out of the fridge and lay it over me..
It was pure bliss.
Edit: especially if you have 3rd degree burns from the previous days sun bathing.

i do this with slippersan hour in the freezer does the trick
