Actually, with reference to the original example..I'd like to stand up for Mrs Light Vessel Automatic's right to indulge in a little coloured peg co-ordination. It's something I indulge in myself and it does nobody any harm.
Free the Washing Line One from this mental tyranny! I say. Now, where's me pitchfork? Oh yes, it's filed away alphabetically in the "Earth Arranging Implements" sub-section of the garage.

I foiled her planbecause I've just been out and bought a shit load of new pegs as they old ones kept breaking. However, the new ones are all the same colour
