This is a question IT Support

Our IT support guy has been in the job since 1979, and never misses an opportunity to pick up a mouse and say "Hello computer" into it, Star Trek-style. Tell us your tales from the IT support cupboard, either from within or without.

I'm not too shabby
And I'm based in Macc.

Is the manual any help?

Ah cool
I'll double check when I get home, but it only came with a sheet of A4 and that just says where to plug your cables in and what comes in the box. Nothing to guide you as such.

I'll get back to you later. Cheers!

No worries
Will need you to send me the Make and model number though.

It should be just plug and play, if you're using wires.
If the thing is supplied by your ISP, should be fine.

ALtrincham
If you still need a hand?

Erm...
It appears to not in fact be a router, but an Ethernet switch. Belm. To be fair, play sent me the wrong thing so it's not all my fault. I'll pop to maplins at lunch and pick up an actual router.

Thanks for the kind assistance though, much appreciated! You're a good bunch!
