IT Support
Our IT support guy has been in the job since 1979, and never misses an opportunity to pick up a mouse and say "Hello computer" into it, Star Trek-style. Tell us your tales from the IT support cupboard, either from within or without.

I do love that
"Ahh! You're moving the mouse! It's like there's a ghost in the computer!" is the invariable response.
I've used it at work when I've been too lazy to get up and walk to the person's desk (no we don't have VNC servers running Big Brother style - things like UltraVNC Single Click can be emailed to people then they initiate the session). When my BMI hit 30, I stopped doing that though.

Oh yes!
One guy in the office will invite everyone in the vicinity to come and look at his screen when the cursor starts moving of it's own accord and word starts typing gobbledegook. Mysteriously, it stops whenever anyone else comes near the screen!
