Bonus story!
I've already answered this QotW, but I've been inspired by more recent stories.
A chap I know, a shy, retiring gay man, was terrified of his flatmate. He could hear him through the walls at night, muttering obscenities: You fucking fucker, I'm going to fucking kill you, I'm gonna get you all, you absolute bastard, oh no you don't, etc.

It was me, playing online games with my headset on. In my defence, I wasn't talking that loud, the walls are just made of paper.

Funny thing is, I never got this from him. He quietly went and asked our other housemates if they thought I was ill.
When I found out, I apologised, explained and bought him a bottle of wine. This is how conflict resolution should be: Quiet, civilised and British.

I did something like this to my roommate. I was voice-chatting with headphones in and she walked in while I was having a conversation about whether there was special soap one could buy to wash one's bum that was different from face soap. She thought I was talking to her. Her face was a picture.
She also left her nasty, skid-marked, dirty panties all over the floor when the laundry tub was right. next. to. her, so maybe she deserved it.
