This is a question I just don't get it

Poor Semiret, he's foreign and has no idea if he "should laugh about the whole 'only playing music when they are out of ice cream' thing or not." There's also a Far Side cartoon that has had him stumped for almost 20 years.

What don't you understand? What have you politely gone along with whilst internally going WTF?

Aged beef
Winestain, aged beef is beef from regular aged beasts (usually under 2 yrs of age) that is slaughtered, chilled on the carcass for 20 hrs or so, then boned out into the primal cuts. These are then vacuum packaged and stored at 0 degrees for anything up to 30 days. This has the effect of tenderising the meat further, without allowing bacteria to get in and kill you when you enjoy your steak.
