Overheard the other day: "I've told you before - stop swearing in front of the kids, for fuck's sake." Your tales of double standards please.

Just because she claims it's rape it is? I mean WTF? No evidence presented that it WAS rape beyond an unreliable claim of rape.
If the guy claimed it was rape, would you believe it?
If it actually was rape- especially with people who are pretty young and drunk, so wouldn't be able to take measures to hide it- there would be evidence. A bash to the head from when he knocked her out to make it easier. Screams of terror heard if he didn't. A mumbled "confession" after a bollocking doesn't really cover it. Especially in the conservative, libel-happy USA.
I really hate to play the sexism card, but this is utter mental-level feminism. I'm not saying Rape is good- it's not. I'm not saying that all rape cases are bollocks- they're not all bollocks.
But there are a good number of cases where the guys will have been convicted on the basis of a hysterical, egged-on young woman who woke up next to someone who wasn't as fit as she thought without beer-goggles. Or don't want to be seen as a "slut" (again thanks to the conservative "sex is a dirty thing to be ashamed of culture), so use the get-out-of-sluttishness-free card.

I was referring to the two kids in Eastbourne, he's 13 but looks 8 (and if it's his I'll eat my woolly hat), she's 15 and has a squad of lads claiming she's had more rides than Shergar.
