In response to the Trainspotting threadYou're bang on there. Huge double standards about Comic-Book Guy types all talking about World of Warcraft and suchlike, but idiotic blokes standing around talking about football is just fine. At least the WoW types (oh yes, I know the shorthand-jealous!) are genuinely into it; half the time footie 'fans' have such a pathetic grasp on what it is to be a man that underneath they all hate football, but aren't man enough to admit it.
