Point of Order
He wasn't in jail, he was released last month but had a curfew order in place that meant he had to be at his mum's house each night.
Now, he doesn't sound like the nicest bloke in the world, and the right wing press is throwing a hissy fit over Straw getting involved, but in similar circumstances I think yes, you would have a decent shout at getting a curfew order rescinded for the evening.

Sounds
sensible enough.
Is he likely to re-offend? Either don't let him out or have someone keep an eye on him. Or keep a tag on him.
