What gets meis the people who have half diet and half normal. My friend used to work at Gatwick McDonalds, and he said this was what the fat Americans always got.

That is interesting.Could it have been something to do with a taste difference, between 'our' version and 'theirs'? (As I understand, soda formulation can vary. Apparently, "fountain" diet coke tastes different from "bottled" diet coke, due to different sweeteners used.)
