Image Challenge suggestions
We think a good challenge idea is like the opening line of a joke, say "If ads told the truth... Guinness would say 'It makes you fat, and your shit turn black.'"
Maybe you have other ideas.
We're going to leave this thread open, so feel free to add ideas at any time. BTW: Please use the "i like this" button. Your voting really helps the good ideas bubble-up, and the very best will be used in the Image Challenge itself.

Who, or what, are "numbats"?
Edit: Oh, it's one of those.
When I was learning French at Secondary School, the text book had a list of miscellaneous French animal names, some of them untranslated. One of the untranslated animals was "Watusi". No French, or indeed English, dictionary could tell me what kind of animal this was. My dad told me it's a kind of dance. Now, thanks to the internet, I'm able to find out that in addition to being a dance it is also a breed of longhorned African cattle. Why the writers of the text book thought it useful for us to know this particular word (albeit without translation) is a mystery, although my best theory is that some waggish subeditor had a fondness for that particular beast and/or word, and managed to sneak it in.
