Crazy People off the Internet
The internet is full of mental. Ever been threatened with violence? Did it spill over into real life? Tell us your story. Or maybe you wish to buck the trend and tell us about the how you've met lots of quite nice, sane people.

he keeps trotting out the same old chestnuts.
It begins to lose its lustre after a while. EDITED for plummy.

It is entirely appropriate in this case no?
maybe save your critical responses for when it doesn't quite work. In this case it does. This is coming from someone who doesn't join in with the usual cross board arguments, and has no intention of doing so.

Nah, I like 'plummy'
makes you seem nice and rosey red.
Or desirable.

That was on /board, which is an entirely different kettle of fish. Also - given a baseball bat, a starless night, and Rory - don't tell me you wouldn't be tempted.

It would be the first funny thing he'd managed in whatever it is that he fondly refers to as his 'life'.

Two internet hardmen, expressing a desire to take a bat to a fellow b3tan's legs!
I'd link this as a new story, if it weren't so dull and self-referential.

I was actually thinking of shoving it up his arse.
And there you go.
An internet "hard"man.

In fact, I believe Ringo was implying he'd shove said bat up Rory's arse. I, on the other hand, am not particularly fussy about the exact point of impact, and certainly never specified legs. That all said, I'd like to make it absolutely clear, in respect to the above messages, that I do not even own a baseball bat - although I think, should push come to shove, that I could probably borrow a Rounders bat. I will also make a mental note* to run everything by you in future, in order to avoid such misunderstandings as might arise from clearly tongue-in-cheek banter referencing a previous post on a comedy website.
* ie, a note reminding myself not to upset the mentals

Probably not a good idea.
I'm not on here much, so you'd be looking at a 2 week turnaround on many of your posts. Less than ideal, I should imagine.
