Irrational Hatred
People who say "less" when they mean "fewer" ought to be turned into soup, the soup fed to baboons and the baboons fired into an active volcano. What has you grinding your teeth with rage, and why?

bananas
just looking at them makes me nervous. the smell is enough to make me dry-heave. i couldn't pick up a ripe banana if you paid me.
it's so bad that, when my nephew was about 6, he chased me around my own house with a banana, until i locked myself in the bathroom, screaming at him to go away.
the unripe green bananas aren't as bad, for some reason.

Bananas - if you have them, you don't want them.
Whenever I buy bananas (which is not very often), it's because I happen to walk past them in the supermarket and think "I fancy some bananas, for a change." When I've actually bought them, though, I invariably think "Bananas are filling, so I won't eat one otherwise I won't be hungry for lunch/dinner/etc." My brain thinks that one banana is as filling as a three-course meal, so I rarely actually eat them and they end up going brown and soft and useless.

You had a terrifying childhood experience with a banana?
The mind boggles.
