This is a question Irrational Hatred

People who say "less" when they mean "fewer" ought to be turned into soup, the soup fed to baboons and the baboons fired into an active volcano. What has you grinding your teeth with rage, and why?

An interesting part of psychology and counselling is that it often transpires that
Things one rages against are often qualities in oneself one is unwilling to face or accept.

or just
Shit that gets on your nerves.

Is 'could of' an inner quality?

Things that YOU rage against maybe.
But you're just projecting that onto everyone else.

Things that YOUR MUM rages against.

Only when it's on spin.
If by "rages against" you mean "sits on top of"

I think I've seen her
on Youporn. Does she have shoulder length dark wavy hair and a tattoo on her shoulder?
(, Wed 6 Apr 2011, 10:30, closed)
For the right price
She can have whatever you like, mate.

Hah! Yes! Like that Pastor "I hate fags more than anyone" Phelps
...you know, the America's Most Hated Family patriarch.

All through the program about him, I wanted to scream at his followers, "He's gay! HE'S GAY! Jesus Titty-Fucking Christ, if ever there was a textbook example of closet-induced self-hatred, he's it, can't you see? It's as obvious as a Jim Davidson punchline!"

I imagine that seeing his wife naked would have done the trick

The worst insult anyone can think of
often reflects the characteristic that they fear most finding in themselves.
For example, when I worked with troublesome adolescents I was sometimes called a 'tart' by the female 'clients'. The facts that a. I was old enough to be their mother and looked it and b. most of them were already on the game rather took the sting out of this affront.

Indeed. I believe it was Winston Churchill who observed that when he was 16 his parents knew absolutely nothing
and by the time he was 21 he was thoroughly impressed with how much they'd managed to learn in the past five years.

You mean like those chaps who post smug, condescending rants on the internet
all about how they hate atheists for being smug and condescending?

:p
(, Wed 6 Apr 2011, 10:55, closed)
Oh yes - especially them.
Particularly them, in fact.

And all who sail in them.

Let's face it, if you were as right as me, you'd be smug and condescending too.
(, Wed 6 Apr 2011, 10:59, closed)
Hey, I resent tthat
I'm twice the smug and condescending twat you are
(, Wed 6 Apr 2011, 11:10, closed)
But unfoundedly so, that's the problem
*croissants*
(, Wed 6 Apr 2011, 11:37, closed)
Woo!
Croissant becomes a verb!!!!

How long til the OED recognize?
(, Wed 6 Apr 2011, 13:22, closed)

*does gang-sign hand thing*
(, Wed 6 Apr 2011, 13:24, closed)
I wonder...
Out of interest - what does that mean with regard to Dr. Shambolic? That he hates everything about himself??

Go figure...
