Irrational Hatred
People who say "less" when they mean "fewer" ought to be turned into soup, the soup fed to baboons and the baboons fired into an active volcano. What has you grinding your teeth with rage, and why?

Lollipop people using Pelican crossings.
Inspired by a post below:
This makes me positively fume! How dare the lollipop people take taxpayers money to press a bleedin' button? How dare they?! For the inflated wage they walk home with, I expect them to duel traffic armed only with their brightly coloured tabard and gaudy sign; not to hide behind the very technology that was designed to wipe out their kind.
Fucking leeches.

I also just don't get this.
On my commute home, i see two of these.
Why do we need a 'traffic crossing controller' (as they're probably called) at a traffic light controlled crossing? Are people now unable to use a crossing on their own?
If someone comes up with a bloody argument of 'the children are too young to cross on their own', then what about the rest of their journey? Do the get someone to help them cross every fucking road on their way home?
Another fucking waste of my money.

I don't remember saying i didn't smell.
On the plus side, i do have a sense of humour, and an irrational hatred of lollipop people on traffic light controlled crossings.

Does your sense of humour stretch to encompass what a dick you look using phrases like "waste of my money" in this context?

And, in the context of this being the internet...

Completely.
My life just wouldn't be the same without people like you. I'm sure it would be much simpler, like you.
Are we getting bored yet. I am... See you later Dr.

Well, this will really annoy you then...
... there is a pelican crossing near us.
It's near a school and apparently that means there should be a lollipop lady to help the kids across. They are supposed to walk over with the kids and make sure they are all over before the lights change again.
However - and you won't believe this - the timing of the lights was deemed too short to allow the lollipop lady to safely walk out onto the crossing and back (H&S you know). Therefore, we are currently paying for a lollipop lady just to press the button for the kids - the one part of crossing the road that they will be fighting to do anyway.
Idiots.

Why
can't she go all the way across and then press the button again for the return journey?
