climbing/abseilingI love climbing and don't really suffer from any great fear of heights, but for some reason I have an irrational fear of abseiling. I hate it. As soon as I step of the edge I freeze, then I start shaking uncontrollably which just makes things worse. If I were scared of climbing or heights it would make sense, but it's just abseiling I'm scared of...

As a climber of 25 years experienceI agree with you completely. Abseiling is wrong, and tbh an easy way to die.
