Either you love 'em or you hate 'em. Or in the case of Fred West - both. Tell us your ankle-biter stories.

Amen.
When I went to school at VCU it was always easy to spot the art students- they all had on dirty thrift-store clothes or things they had ripped carefully and mismatched as much as possible, they all had dirty and messed up or weirdly dyed hair, they all had piercings, most had tattoos, and they all kept an eye out to see who was watching them.
They were perhaps the most conservative and conformist group in the entire university.
I took some classes in the art building and stood out dramatically in my cargo shorts, tee shirts and sandals- and on the days when I wore a polo shirt and jeans they looked at me as though I were an alien.
Not an ounce of originality in the lot.
