Either you love 'em or you hate 'em. Or in the case of Fred West - both. Tell us your ankle-biter stories.

bear with me
my aforementioned brother is incredibly travel sick. there are few things that will stop the ribena coloured sludge being thrown up all over the back of the car.

i am of course, put on duty with bucket, towel and plastic bags.

i found one of things that will stop him from being sick is oddly enough a game called 'yellow car' where on seeing a yellow coloured car, you must punch your opponent in the arm first.

this leads to a terrible choice;

do i want to be covered in purple goo or spend the next two hours down this stretch of the motorway being repeatedly punched in the arm by an excited five-year-old?

decisions decisions

how about a compromise...
and put him in the boot....or tie him to the top of the car. I have it from a semi-reliable source that there is no law against tying a kid to the top of the car*

*notice it is only a semi-reliable source though

.
Have you tried the travel sickness pills called "Joyrides"? Very young children can take them and they seem to work quite well, as a child I had the same problem and they worked wonders on me.

If not, I'd go with the punching, at least it doesn't smell and at you can pad out your sleeve with something soft beforehand :)

hmmm
you should probably figure out if he's 5 years old or 8 first, perhaps he's anti-aging?
