Dear BBC
Please stop asking me to write an essay on my mulitcultural experiences and my knowledge of diversity in the community for a broadcast engineers post.

It has no bearing what so ever on the job and makes you look like a bunch of cunts.

Yours,

argh. yes.
Most of the jobs I've applied for lately (both in UK and Oz) have that one stupid selection criteria/question that essentially requires you to state "I'm not racist or sexist." and I have to ask - WTF is the point? Who's going to say "Actually, I don't believe in your equal opportunities policies" even if that were true?

If the point is that they want to be able to fire you later by stating that clearly you lied on your application, then I still don't see why it needs to be part of the selection criteria - surely they should just hand you the policy to read and get you to sign a statement that you agree to it.

Argh.

But the morons demand it.
Apparently thinking should only be done by politicians and should be inclusive and also involve thinking of the children but not in that way.
The morons rule the world.
