This is a question Pathological Liars

Friz writes, "I recently busted my mate who claimed to have 'supported the Kaiser Chiefs in 2001' by gently mentioning that they weren't even called that back then."

Some people seem to lead complete fantasy lives with lies stacked on lies stacked on more lies. Tell us about the ones you've met.

BTW, if any of you want to admit to making up all your QOTW stories, now would be a good time to do it.

I love the fake letter.

"You was one one out of five recruits that almost got top marks"

The tattoo
does it for me. He has to live his lie for the rest of his life. No doubt lots of naive slappers in clubs fall for it, which is sad.

I read the forum thread on that site as it all unfolded. At one point he set up a fake Faceparty account of a body builder to be his mate and prove he's well hard. Unfortunately, as he was searching Google Images for body builder pictures he didn't pay much attention to detail and posted a blatant Photoshop of a body builder whose six pack was a configuration of Homer Simpson's face!

That would have been embarrassing but there was little credibility left to undermine by that point.

And sorry for posting a link, it gets my goat when other people do it but I felt compelled to make an exception.
