for my first blood test, and always asked for it afterwards, but got the impression it didn't really exist, for some reason. Y'know, odd stares from the staff, the "we don't have any of that"

I think some nurses think being 'brusque and matter of fact' when someone is nervous is actually helpful. You can be efficient without being a bitch.


ewww, this just reminded me, last but one blood test I had done, I found afterwards she had scraped the needle on my elbow. Yes I'm a wuss, it sets my teeth on edge
