Lamo...One of my first recordings was of the 8bit choons from my old Master System, using my dodgy stereo with built in mic. Music ranged from Alien 3 to Desert Strike and was quite possibly the shittest tape ever. I think I got my parents to play it in the car for me. looking back I think I owe them some hefty compensation.

Replace"Master System" with "Commodore 64" and that was me, aged about 10. Are you me from a parellel dimension?

I'd would just like to raise the nerd leveland state that I still like the Commodore 64 music, and regularly listen to it on a piece of software called SidPlayer. Actually, it's still great - fantastic grainy 8-bit quality, some of it really industrial and gritty.
Put that in your pipes and smoke it!
