This is a question Mix Tapes

Everyone's made a mix tape (or CD, USB stick, or whatever kids do these days). Mostly to get in someone else's pants, but we're sure there are other, lesser, reasons too.

So, who did you make it for and why?
And... what was on it?

wow
hours and hours between posts. This is getting more pathetic than originally predicted on page one.

Guess I could post a story that is sort-of on topic.....

I once knew a woman who liked to record all her favorite TV shows on video tapes. Once she had a larger number of episodes, she would then re-record them onto another tape, putting them in order of original air-date, editing out commercials, and editing out parts of the shows that offended her or contained bad language.....and there was a whole lot that offended this fruitcake. High on her list of things to edit out was any kind of sexual reference. You should see what she did to the episode of Seinfeld which was the bet (you know, where they all bet each other who could go the longest without wanking)....I think after her editing, that episode was no more than 3 minutes long.
Now she is taking all the video tapes she mixed (yeah, that was a bit of a reach there) and re-recording them again to DVD.
She does this with crime shows too.....but edits out bad language, sexual references, bloody or gory bits, miscellaneous body parts, or anything else that strikes her as just not right.

nuttier than a fruitcake, I tell you.

I had no idea about that. Maybe she should become a Mormon.

What I never understood was why she chose shows whose central themes were things that offended her...then edited out the offensive material.....making them incomprehensible. Why not just watch shows that don't offend you in the first place?
And how she ever came to wanting to be my friend in the first place was also somthing of a mystery.....I'm full of all kinds of offensive stuff! Sweary, dirty-minded, rude, a bit cruel, and some would say, even slightly slutty. I guess it made her feel superior to know me? *shrug*
I always knew she was a bit....off. She also had a closet full of lego....she had created the entire town in lego and had all the little lego people labeled with the names of everyone she knew. She would act out fantasies with these lego people......and if you got on her bad side, she would ostracize your little lego-person. Not so crazy for a young teenager perhaps, but this carried on well into her 30's.

She sounds mega, especially with the lego.
I want to have babies with her.

Titanic
We gave my Mormon friend the video "Titanic" for her birthday, thinking, "What could possibly go wrong?" Her parents confiscated it, saying they would return it when the sex scene (which shows nothing) and that other lame drawing scene had been edited out. She still to this day probably thinks that Jack and whatsherface had a perfectally passionate relationship without ever culminating it. Oh, well. Plus, to the party I managed to bring along a rather racy birthday card, without realizing that it was of a sexual nature until she opened it and read it out loud. I was in a hurry, shit.

That's fucking funny.

bearpookie: she is not allowed to breed. And I'm afraid you might freighten her a bit. If you are not extremely posh, she won't notice you exist.....or will treat you like a servant.

^^
Reading this on a slightly grimy monitor, from about 4 feet away, I misread "treat" as "beat".
