I had a similar experiencea friend of mine, Jon, passed away some time ago.
Misadventure really, he was drunk, had a badly broken arm from a previous accident and decided to climb over the back fence of his house rather than walk around...
He and I used to listen to War of the Worlds quite a bit, and one of the songs played at his funeral was Forever Autumn by Justin Hayward from said musical.
Moved me to tears then and on several occasions since.
