one of our clients at work
always spells thanks as 'thanx' in emails. seriously. he'll send a mass email out to 50 people and sign it off with 'thanx, paul'. everytime. professional or what.

he's in his 50's btw. and he's northern (whether or not this is relevant i'm not sure).
