Motorola Brick phone
I once ran over a Motorola 8800X, the legendary brick mobile, with a Sherpa van.

My dad owned both of those things simultaneously.
Which places that event in the mid eighties to early nineties, by my reckoning.
He also, somehow, had a complete two-way radio system from a police car in the shed.

Was not long into being promoted, and was bricking it at the thought of how to explain how phone was demolished.

The Sherpa was Made in Britain. I don't think it ever worked properly anyway.
