This is a question Modern Life

Modern life is Rubbish, suggested Damian Allbran of Pulp
He might have had a point. What was better about the good old days, or conversely do you believe the modern world to be the zenith of civilisation?

I liked Question of the Week
when it was just a thread on one of the existing messageboards, rather than a distinct subsection of b3ta. The mystery mod represents the ultimate low point, the nadir, if you will.

No offense, PJ - you may have had a couple of good weeks*, but you've burnt out faster than McChinaman.

*even so, mcbeef deserves the credit for those.

If you hadn't noticed they have all been Mcbeef suggestions. He's the super secret mod, not me

Oh bless, I'm glad he's finally got something worthwhile in his life

Oh fuck off will you?
I'm fucking sick of this. You bait and then bloo bloo to the mods when you get a reaction. You're a total fartbelm.

You are more than welcome to fuck off any time you like

You forgot to put quotes around that,
and attribute it to everyone who has ever met you.

since it was started, qotw was always a seperate part of b3ta

(, Fri 17 Jul 2015, 12:22, closed)
No it wasn't.
There was a massive thread about "the worst food you've ever eaten" that started life on one of the main boards.

there was also one about accidental animal cruelty
which I found in a popbitch email, which is how I found b3ta.

I don't think that was a separate one, as it's not on the list.

the winner was someone who sat at the top of the stairs chucking treats down them so his cat had to run down to eat them. then chucking them at the top so it had to run up to eat them. then down. then up. then down. then up. until the cat chucked up in return. fishy biscuits in his lap.

I used to believe everything I read on popbitch.

that may be the case, but it wasn't a question of the week
