might sound a bit odd
but one of the things that can always make me happy is to be indoors during a violent thunderstorm, alone, blaring Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain and flailing around the room doing my drunken conductor bit.
i don't question it, i just enjoy it :)

Add a bit of a wank at the climax
and you have a complete performance.
Time to take on the road.

My Dad used to do that.
He was a professional musician, and took such things very seriously.

He had what we called his 'listening chair', which was by the stereo, and he'd sit in it with headphones on, listening to heavy orchestral classical stuff at full blast, conducting or playing the air trombone. We thought it was very funny, but this being the 70's, never managed to get it onto youtube.

Mussorgsky was a regular.
