my mate's got an akita/german pointer cross
he's fucking huge! lovely dog and soft as fuck. wouldn't be any good against burglars as the most he could manage would be a nasty lick.

My mates dogs are the same, they'll bark at new people for a few minutes if they don't know them but after that they are their best friend.
