My Arch-nemesis
I lived in fear of a Darth Vader-esque school dinner lady who stood me perpetually at the naughty table for refusing to eat mushy peas. An ordeal made worse after I was caught spooning the accursed veg into her wellies. Who, we ask, has wrecked your life?
Thanks to Philly G for the suggestion

I am my own worst enemy
At 25 I said to myself that it was time to "get healthy". When I got close to 30 it was a similar story - losing weight would only get harder with age, so that was the time. Now I am 35 and whilst I'm 15kg down from my heaviest, this morning I still tipped the scales at 140kg. Being over 6' stops me lookng like a ball and a fair amount of regular exercise has helped stave off any medical complications to date but a massive sweet tooth and near addiction to cheese have prevented any real headway being made.
I know that I need to change but the will power just doesn't seem to be there while my inner arch nemesis always points out when Ben & Jerries is on offer at the local supermarket.

I drink too much and smoke, eat a lot of shit and do no exercise.
However, I am now on day four of neither drinking or smoking, am walking 2.3 miles a day and drinking at least 1.5 litres of water.
I imagine that by 9pm tonight I'll be pissed out of my face and smoking like a chimney, which will continue through the weekend, and then I'll start again on Monday.

Re the sweet tooth - there's a trick to sorting it.
Stop having sweet drinks. Train yourself to do without sugar in hot drinks and try low-sugar or diet soft drinks. This will help reduce your craving for sweetness.
Cheese though - lovely, innit.

He's right
He's right gradually go from 2 to 1 1/2 to 1 spoons of sugar and so on. As for the cheese, when you buy it buy the strongest ones you can because you'll end up using less of it.

Future me?
Apart from being a few years older than me that sounds just what I do.
Chocoholic, cheese lover and only excercise is walking everywhere.
So are you me from the future coming to tell me do be healthier?
