How nerdy are you?
This week Gary Gygax, co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons, died. A whole generation of pasty dice-obsessed nerds owes him big time. Me included.
So, in his honour, how nerdy were you? Are you still sunlight-averse? What are the sad little things you do that nobody else understands?
As an example, a B3ta regular who shall remain nameless told us, "I spent an entire school summer holiday getting my BBC Model B computer to produce filthy stories from an extensive database of names, nouns, adjectives, stock phrases and deviant sexual practices. It revolutionised the porn magazine dirty letter writing industry for ever.
Revel in your own nerdiness.

*sigh*
Many things...
I'm so sad...
Okay, my friends would never play dungeons and dragons with me (at first), so at the age of 13, I would bury myself in the books, designing maps of epic dungeons and living breathing towns filled with npc's and events and plots and stories, I would create magical weapons and monsters...
and then I would lock myself away in my room... Roll up a party of characters and then 'play' the game with me as DM and also the elvern wizard, the dwarven warrior and the halfling thief... for about six hours straight.
It was great fun...
I now have a stack of roleplaying paraphenelia that reaches about waist high to me if stacked on top of each other (and i'm six foot three and a bit)... I also have a large jar of dice (including a d30 and a real d100)...
Oh, and I used to run around with an imaginary sword and fight off dozens of invisible orcs (in the playground).
Now, I've calmed down a bit and have real friends.
R.I.P Gygax (until I can get hold of that ring of regeneration for you).

You've
actually piled up the stuff to see how high it would go?
Along with the solitary roleplay, that's impressive!

All depends if Gygax
is using the 0 hit point or the -10 hit point death rules, cos i believe he is probably on -8 or -9 and therefore a ring of regen will help him...
