This is a question The nicest thing someone's ever done for me

In amongst all the tales of bitterness and poo, we occasionally get fluffy stories that bring a small tear to our internet-jaded eyes.

In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.

Failing that, what nice things have you done for other people, whether they liked it or not?

@chickenlady: For sure, we're liking it here it just takes a bit of getting used to. Where in pune did you stay? We're in Koreagoan park.

@tuqueboy: I've been to Canada before, my ex girlfriend was Canadian, i used to fly to see her every month (Boy, that got expensive), she lived in Ottawa. The coldest it ever got when i was there was -49 Celcius. Jesus H Christ on a bike that was cold. I love Canada though, most amazing place and lovely people.

I stayed at Sangam
in Yerawada because, yes, I was a Girl Guide!

Had a fantastic time there - did bits of relief work locally too. Amazing place.

@cl
I'm working in Yerawada, that's where my office is based.
It's the tech park on loop road, the big-ass IBM building next to Don Bosco school :)
