It's quite easy....
Just click 'I Like This' if you remember when real stories used to win instead of convoluted made-up-pseudo fetish-bollocks and crap puns.

*sigh... all this was fields... leave your doors open...people had interesting things to say... etc...*

^This
I'd like to see posts with great stories instead of people posting how much they hate qotw.

agreed
I like funny tales from funny interesting people have have actually had good/bad amusing things happen to them. Not sad loser wankers(hint!), who never venture outdoors and can only wish they have had some of the false experiences they write about. Reeks of desperation and need to fit in please laugh at my amazing anecdotes blub blub. Meh

Looking at your profile
I see you only clicked on 2 posts! Hardly qualifies you to be the fucking voice of reason on QOTW, you muppet. Why don't you try writing some stuff of your own instead of knocking other people. Just because certain things haven't happened to you doesn't mean that they are made up when somebody else writes about them. Idiot.

^^this
Some of us have done things that would make your hair curl and your buttocks clench young man. Get out of your house and try them sometimes - it may give you something interesting to write about next time.

Didn't mean to offend
Never said/meant to imply I was the voice of reason either. In the last 3 years or so I've been reading QOTW it just seems to me that a lot more of the replies are long drawn out tales that are funny and well written but don't have authenticity and credibility as older ones. This is just my opinion, which like you say doesn't count for much seeing as I hardly ever post which is in part due to having only limited material the write about but mainly due to being rubbish at writing! Apologies

Fair enough
However, don't just assume that all stories are false. I don't make up any of mine (apart from Teh Punnage (TM)) not because of any moral objection but because normally I lack the imagination.

Some stories are 100% true. Some are 100% false. Most lie somewhere in the middle. But as long as it's a good read and takes my mind off the soul-crushing monotony of my working day, then job's a goodun!

No
it's the fact that they are obviously made up that makes them made up.

And it's not the fact that they exist as much as the volume of them. OTOH, they're really not that obtrusive and it's possible to ignore people (I haven't yet but I *am* mulling it over). I think it would help though if the usernames were at the top of the post.

That said, it's a cracking QOTW this week I think :)
