mdma powder is just the happy stuff, assuming it's not been cut with something else.

Utter arse.
The powder was introduced because pills became so cheap that they were barely worth selling. It just upped the margins again. Some of it is fairly pure. Most of it is shit. Exactly the same as with the pills it partially replaced.

wasn't there for the heyday of pills, so can't comment. ("oh man it was amazing, one pill for £5 used to keep me high for 10 hours")
I do know that for a few years it was clear crystals that were bought and then reduced to powder. These always gave a far smoother cleaner up and down than the pills that were available.
I understand that more recently it's all been headache-inducing crap.

I wish, they were fifteen, and they were usually great, but on the other hand they were shit sometimes aswell. Mind you, I pay 21.50 for my pills now, and they're always fucking amazing.
