I wandered into a tent at Glastonbury while tripping...and ended up learning how to knap. I even bought a book and kit - deer-antler hammer and so on.
Sometimes I sit on the beach and try to make arrowheads. It gets some curious looks!

Obsolete but still prizeda mate of mine trained as a bricklayer, but found himself working in a part of the South East of England where there are a lot of flint walls. He learned how to knap flints and is now absolutely coining it in doing building work in flint with very little competition.
