This is a question Old stuff I still know

Our Ginger Fuhrer says that he could still code up a simple game idea in Amstrad Basic, while I'm your man if you ever need to rebuild the suspension on an Austin Allegro (1750 Equipe version). This stuff doesn't leave your mind - tell us about obsolete talents you still have.

I can remember 'The Ian Rush Milk Advert' word for word, my BT chargecard number from when I was 12 and the serial number on the glass of my Dad's Sierra!
But I really can't be bothered to recite them, just take my word for it!

Oh and I can remember the programme that turns the Amstrad Notepad into a keyboard, I still have two of them.

Argh!
BT charge numbers! I still remember both of the ones I had when I was twelve. One to my parents' home phone and one to my dad's big as a briefcase 'mobile' phone. Now I'll never make those numbers go away :(

with the 144 at the start,
then the 8 digit card number, 4 digit pin and 11 digit STD code and phone number, I guarantee there will never be a string of 26 numbers that I will be able to recall with such ease again in my life.

Yes, this ^
I still remember mine. I'd type it here to prove it but that'd be pretty pointless :)

I still know the Ian Rush Milk Advert word for word too
although my boyfriend had never heard of it before and definitely needed to be taught it! That and Ball Boy shoes advert and the Kellogg's Variety advert. Have I ever bought more milk based on the advert? No. Variety packs? No - only when on special offer in Tesco - plus they're tiny! As for Ball Boy shoes they were the first thing my brother bought on the internet, but they didn't come with the free football signed by Gareth Southgate, captain of the England football team, oh no, they'd run out long before then and instead came with a free key ring, and were sent back 2 days later for being rubbish!

Remembering useless crap is my obsolete talent, I can only remember useful stuff today like how to get to work and what time to set my alarm for!
