One of our next door neighbours have a three legged pointer.
It's often looking over the fence coveteously at the rabbits, and salivating. It can still get about fairlty sharply as I discovered when it escaped from their garden and I attempted to catch it.
The thing is though, sometimes when he and the wienerama who lives at the other side stare at each other across the no-man's land of our garden, I can't help but notice the slight look of pity in the wienerama's eyes.

I guess what I'm saying is make sure that the dog has accepted its loss and that you're able to give the necessary emotional support.

I would like to think that I'm a very caring person, and that I can bring the emotional support, at least in the situation of sharing it with my ma', that Project Stumble-Woof can go ahead.

How could anything entitled "Project Stumble Woof" possibly fail.
Do you live sufficiently close to your Mum for the sharing to be on a day by day basis or are we talking weekdays - Gonz's Mum, weekends - Gonz?
