I have fruit salad instead of Christmas pudding,and used to have a chocolate and cranberry cake in place of Christmas cake, before I confessed I didn't even want chocolate cake so my mother stoped making me one. It's all about savouries for me.
Cold roast potatoes dunked in bread sauce, gammon, a selection of mustards, fine cheeses....that's what I like about Christmas fare. Those and vintage port.
