Bit of a thick head this mornning but it's clearing.

I seem to be becoming immune to wine, which is a bugger. I had 2/3rds of a bottle and was fine.
Are you getting feedback from your meeting/presentation at any point?

Had a chat with my supervisor the following afternoon in which he basically said, "There's some really weird shit going on with your data. Personally I wouldn't have shown those."
So am now trying to work out the reason for all this 'weird shit.' Not making the most concerted effort, as you can probably tell.
Wine doesn't have quite the same effect as cider and black or gin and lemonade then? Careful, it's an expensive habit to get into! (But a thoroughly enjoyable one)

Put it down to "disturbances in the force" or an anomaly opening in the atmosphere or something.
Well, it seems to be having rapidly swinging effects on me. Sometimes a bottle will knock me out...but I did leave this bottle out of the fridge and it went a bit cloudy. But surely that should INCREASE alcohol?
(In the tradition of doing things slightly wrong, I drink rosé)

Alcohol evaporates at a significantly lower temperature than water, although I wouldn't have thought it would have that much effect of the overall concentration if it had just been sitting there for a day, especially in this weather. Edit: Also, there's nothing wrong with rosé.
Yeah, the weird shit is just kind of annoying, as he even saw one of the spectra last Friday, and waited until Tuesday, i.e., after I'd given the talk, to point out that that massive offset shouldn't be there.

It tasted unusually nice for a £5 bottle of wine though. The taste of my latter teenage years. Speaking of which, is your Arse still virgin, or have you cracked it open?
Ooh, that wasn't good. Do you have to take readings again, or something? Or find a reason for why your data is erratic? I don't know much about science any more :/
