I'm not a 'massive' fan, but I always watched when I was growing up.I think the Kevin Sampson book, 'Away Days' has a passage in there (based on truth) about an encounter with Tom Baker.
The book isn't worth reading (although it is slightly better than the film of the same name, which really was shit).
Who are your top 3 Doctors then?
I'd go, Baker, Pertwee and the current one. In that order.

Tom.Apart from that I can't chose, although Matt Smith is bloody good. I like them all though.
