The only thing that bothered me about my early thirtieswas the collapse of my first marriage. I ended up thinking that perhaps the previous 13 years had been a total waste of energy and was left feeling a bit displaced.
Turning 40 doesn't bother me much, apart from the odd reflection on how I'm now only four years younger than my mum was when she died. It's quite sobering at times.
But, yeah, on reflection things ain't so bad :)

It is a sobering fact that when Mozart was my age, he'd already been dead for 13 years.At the same time... yeah, life goes on and can be pretty sweet at times.
