the kitchen is the worst
the woman who owned the flat before me had these cupboard doors fitted which don't QUITE close sometimes and i have to bang them shut. it's a very shallow cupboard space, but very tall. at any given time, opening it could result in some or all of the following landing on you: pots of spare paint, iron, clothes horses, ironing board, carrier bags, wine carriers, hammer, nails, rolls of wrapping paper.
