But what does football look like in 3D?
I'm going to assume you won anyway, because my housemate just came home with his friend and sang my name at me in a high-pitched tone for ages until I threw a book at him because I was trying to listen to something.

What does football look like in 3d?
Cold (usually) and it smells of Bovril.

(Or at least it would, if Bob bothered supporting a local club, rather than being a glory-hunter and rarely getting to games).

Ha ha ha
Urgh, I'm having flashbacks to when I was a kid and used to have a season ticket. The smell of Bovril is disgusting.

Who did you go and support?
(Tell ya, since they banned smoking, football smells completely different, the waft of cigars floating over the terracing was a football smell).

Bradford City, for my sins.
I miss it in a way. I don't miss the numb bum and crushing disappointment though.

I've been to Valley Parade a few times over the years.
It's a strange place Bradford. Very big on the Nissan Sunny (or at least it was when I was last there).

Aw, it's lovely here
As long as you don't leave the mile around my house. I have established a safe zone.
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 23:25, Reply)
I've not been there for several years now.
How many years were you a season ticket holder?
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 23:27, Reply)
Probably six or seven
I was mad keen on football when I was a nipper. Now... not so much. I miss going to the games though
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 23:33, Reply)
You should make the effort to go again.
You might enjoy it!
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 23:35, Reply)
There's always spare tickets knocking about
But I work Saturday afternoons. Even if I didn't, it's far too cold for that experiment just yet. I think what I miss is spending the whole day with my dad and getting bought loads of stuff. We never used to see him for the next of the week.

/whiny childhood rant

Well if you get the chance for any reason, take it!
You can't beat the atmosphere of a live football match.

Maybe you'll get Leeds in the cup next season?
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 23:47, Reply)
I hope not
My pub's pretty much evenly split between City fans and failed-gloryhunting-twats. The tension might be too much, we'd all kill each other.
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 23:49, Reply)
Well maybe in the interest of safety
The landlord will close the pub for the day, meaning you can go to the match?
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 23:50, Reply)
Yeah but one half of the pub would never let the other half forget it
And plus, are you MAD? Shut a pub?
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 23:54, Reply)
Depends if the damage caused would be more than the profit!

(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 23:55, Reply)
This is true
But surely the more damage is done, the more people have drunk in the first place?
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 23:59, Reply)
It looks good for close ups and angles across the pitch but the wide lense shots
aren't great/ It's better for rugby as it's such a lateral game.
