First Blood is really quite good.
It's worth watching, anyway.
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:16, 1 reply, 15 years ago)
it's one of those things were if it's on and I've got nothing else to do
or am too stoned to change the channel then I'll watch it.

There are a number of "classic" films that I haven't seen, through never really having the opportunity. Life's too short to seek them all out and watch them.
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:18, Reply)
Life's too short?
When you've just touted being too stoned to move as a possibility?
What a mong.
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:21, Reply)
I love you.

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:22, Reply)
What a delightful coincidence.

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:25, Reply)
I love you more

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:26, Reply)
Then I shall now return to work in a happy mood.

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:28, Reply)
you just don't understand the youth of today

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:26, Reply)
I do understand that 'I DO DRUGS ALL THE TIME' is dull and always has been.

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:27, Reply)
Is it?
Fucking hell, no-one told me.
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:28, Reply)
Clearly.

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:29, Reply)
guess I missed out on that memo too

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:29, Reply)
it's no different to getting pissed up

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:30, Reply)
I agree.
Edit: with the sentiment, of course, not with the use of different to
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:30, Reply)
hahaha

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:32, Reply)
doing it or talking about it?

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:32, Reply)
I don't end to get 'pissed up'.
A little squiffy sometimes, but that's it.
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:33, Reply)
I can't remember the last time I was too stoned to move
the reference to it above was a bit of an over-dramatisation
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:36, Reply)
DRAMA QUEEN

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:37, Reply)
SHUT UP
I HATE YOU
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:37, Reply)
Use the phrase "over-dramatise" twice in one thread
and live with your label, bitch.
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:41, Reply)
I was hoping that no one had noticed that
in hindsight that was a foolish thing to hope
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:51, Reply)
I love you.

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:38, Reply)
What a delightful coincidence.

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:40, Reply)
you should make allowances
I've lived in Devon a long time

"where's that to?"
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:33, Reply)
Haaahaha.
The south-west has ruined us both.
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:34, Reply)
in several small but significant ways
I'm concerned that it's ruined everywhere else for me
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:35, Reply)
At least it wasn't 'different than'.
If it was, I'd already be on a train to wurzel-land with my sharpest sword, with smiting on my mind.
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:35, Reply)
'Train to Wurzel-Land'
I want FGW to paint that on the side of their trains.

Former Great Western?
They suck.
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:47, Reply)
The last time I wote to them, I began,
'Hello and welcome to this month's letter of complaint from me.'
However, they refunded me every time I wrote.
Twats.
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:50, Reply)
different than seems to be more widely accepted
And is used a lot in films where someone thinks they have made a friend, friend turns out to still be a cunt long speech ending in "you're no different than the rest of 'em" *boobs* *explosion* *cheering* *some kind of make up scene*

END
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:39, Reply)
"different to" seems more correct than "different than"
to me at least
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:41, Reply)
Well that's because you're a mong

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:41, Reply)
Vipros's grammar was wrong
Which made him a bit of a mong
But he didn't care
Cos his brain was not there
Having been melted down with a bong
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:43, Reply)
I hate you for making me laugh

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:50, Reply)
And I hate you for making me like you.

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:51, Reply)
you are part of a very non-exclusive club

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:52, Reply)
It's a hideous turn of phrase
and common in films because it's used by ghastly Americans.
Hello Kristine, you gorgeous lass
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:42, Reply)
Still not as bad as should/could/would of

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:43, Reply)
You are the anti-Beverly Knight AICMFP

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:45, Reply)
Now I have that stuck in my head :(

(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 9:47, Reply)
Sometimes
having almost no contact at all with the modern world has its advantages. I know who that Knight woman is but that's about it.
