:( Not too long
though I guess.

No, I suppose not
and I am being outwardly nice, you know, it's been ok...but I really do just want him to GO AWAY. I had to put up with him for the entirety of christmas and then he turned up at mine with a few hours notice. I've had an incredibly frustrating, annoying day, and to have him in my space when I desperately need to unwind is really causing me some angst.

That's frustrating
what went wrong with your day? Has work calmed down a bit there?

Had a busy day at work
so a little stressed, but that's not it, it's partially my brother being around and partially this stupid parcel. I really can't stand it when things go wrong that I have no control over, and the customer service I've received has been absolutely shockingly shit. I'm so upset as not only have they apparently 'lost' it (cough*NICKED IT*cough) but it was a gorgeous pair of boots that I'll struggle to find again, and it was tracked so how the fuck has it gone missing?
I've calmed down a bit from earlier (ie, I'd been on hold for 40 minutes with the same 15 second hold music clip going on and on and on) but I still feel like rage and frustration are bouncing around inside me like a crazy pinball, and I desperately want some time to myself to chill out. But all the various ways I have of calming down require my house guest to PISS RIGHT OFF, and he won't until tomorrow evening.

That's awful
the bastards at the post office have really excelled themselves in thievery this Christmas. They stole a camera that my dad bought for my sister (tracked as far as Dublin then it vanished) as well as several other things.

On shoes though- check out the Kurt Geiger sale. Wait until your brother goes to bed, then have a lovely long bath with a drink, then watch a DVD and drink some more

It's just unbelievable
it was tracked from collection to courier and then shows as being delivered when it clearly wasn't. Everytime I've rung, the advisor has tried to contact the courier, who doesn't pick up, then left them a message and told me they'll ring me back. They never have. I've also sent in two messages via the web form, neither of which have been replied to. I'm so frustrated by the whole process that I could chew through a brick wall, especially as it costs a mint to ring them and I'm on hold at least 15 minutes each time.

Sorry to hear about your stuff too. I can't believe the thing Lamps and I got you hasn't shown up :(

See below.
Didn't want to risk sending it to Ireland, I remember Amberl saying the post can be dodgy and there was a lot of snow.
