Lots of conversations, and a few things in the pipeline that might be interesting.But the duration of the contracts are too short at the moment, I want something with at least 6 months on it.

Are you likely to find somethingif there aren't any being offered? Perhaps businesses don't necessarily have six months worth of guaranteed money for an analyst?

I'll consider a perm role if I can't find what I want on a contract.But the money isn't anywhere near as good.
There are a number of perm roles out there, but I quite like the 'living life on the edge' contracting thing.
