But in all seriousness, no of course not. But in this particular case I think the punishment is extreme. Ideally sexism and racism and most other ism's wouldn't exist but they do and not every case is black and white (no pun intended). I am not trying to upset or annoy anyone, nor am I condoning what Andy Gray did. In my opinion he has been rashly dismissed and it probably warrants a suspension, then a review following an investigation.

But the fact that he's done it repeatedly (in the space of a month!) shows he doesn't think it's wrong and won't change. Do you think no one had a quiet word with him about the December thing?
